Once you know type of pool you want it's time to find
someone to build it for you! Zodiac recommends that you always use
a builder who is a member of SPASA (Swimming Pool & Spa
Association).
There are many benefits to using a SPASA member, for more
information on these benefits or to find local Pool Builders who
are members of SPASA visit your local State SPASA website (see
links below).
Once you have a list of local builders, you should review their
websites to find examples of styles and designs that appeal to
you. From there you can start talking to some builders about
your requirements. Don't forget to ask them what they can
offer you!
Finally, you should arrange for the builder to inspect your site
and provide a written quotation.
Before proceeding with any work you should also:
- Check that the builder is licensed to build a pool in your
state.
- Check that the Builder is experienced
- Check that the Builder has a good reputation - ask the builder
for contact details of several previous customers. When you
contact the customers ask them how they feel about their pool
building experience.
- Check that the builder is a SPASA member
