Ambient temperatures for calculating this formula are set at the standard of 28 degrees air temp, 28 degree water temp and 65% humidity. Other factors such as unseasonally cold weather, excess shade, presence of wind, quality of the pool cover etc cannot be accounted for when calculating.

All indoor models supplied with vent cap and draft hood.

Your energy bill will be significantly decreased with a pool cover.

What temperature is best for my pool?
Most people find 28°C is the ideal temperature for pool heating.

Use this as a guide to show the rise you want from the current water temp to the desired temp. ie current temp may be 15 and you may want to have 30. This would indicate a rise of 15 degrees. The calculator will formulate the time/energy needed to increase the volume of pool water by the selected increase.

Many users find a heat up time between 12-24hrs to be ideal for their needs, please select your desired time frame.

Altitude is important if living in highland areas. Please provide as close as details as you can.

Intelliheat works by sensing the water temperature intermittently through the day to determine if the heat pump should be on, keeping the water temperature consistent at all times. Intelliheat is available to use with a separate pump or with your normal integrated filter pump (recommended).
